Bachelor Assignment

This assignment focused on redesigning VyCAP's clamping unit for ease of use, presentation and manufacturability. The current prototype is used in the measurement of antibody production per single cell, this is relevant for the development of new therapeutic antibody-producing cell lines, for example. The new two design directions make a solid first step in making the clamping unit easier and more intuitive to use, as well as improving the outward presentation of the device for a more professional appearance. After the design process a set of recommendations for further development was also set up, so that the next steps can be made with a running start.
