Design of a product development procedure for Goelst NL

The goal of this bachelor assignment was to outline a new product development process and corresponding procedure for the company Goelst NL b.v.

Goelst is a company which designs, manufactures, and sells products to serve the high-end window treatment market.

For this assignment a product development process and procedure has been designed with insights from the book “Innovatiekompas” and additional research literature.

The Stage-Gate model is used as basis for the development process and is complemented with three sections; Strategy, Idea management and portfolio management. A flowchart, procedure document, templates, criteria lists and tools are provided to implement and execute this process.
