Bachelor Assignment

The current 600 film cartridge is vulnerable for an idle time caused by the placement of the endcap, this assignment aimed to reduce this idle time. The project started with extensive ideation, discovering the possible solutions. Within the process, several designs have been 3D printed and tested on the functionality. After the ideation three concepts were chosen to further develop. In addition, the costs and feasibility were estimated. The final redesign is financially and technically attractive for Polaroid and recommended for further implementation since it tackles the problems caused by the placement of the endcap.
