Bachelor Assignment

The goal of the assignment was to design a product that could provide a solution the following problem: the loss of carbon dioxide in half empty soda bottles. An analysis has been done on existing techniques and limitations to create a clear image of what the possibilities are of designing such a product. From this, several product ideas were created, from which one was chosen to develop further.

The outcome is a product that can be screwed on a bottle. A CO2 cartridge can be secured in the product and after that, the top half can be pressed down, releasing the gas into the bottle. It is a simple but effective product available to all consumers and a solution for wasted carbon dioxide holding drinks.
