The design of a transportable canoe polo goal
At: Terence Baf
Canoe polo is a small but worldwide played sports where the ball is controlled by hand or by a paddle, and a goal is scored by throwing the ball into a square goal of 1 x 1.5 m which is suspended 2 m above the water. The current goals are hard to transport, not height adjustable and disassembling takes much effort. A new goal is designed, which can be folded to a package of 30 kg, transportable with a car and installable at any place. The new rope connection makes the attachment fast. Adaptions are made to reduce the swaying motion. The goal can be adjusted in height for the lower-age group while floating on the water. The next step should be making a prototype to evaluate the design.
