Bachelor Assignment

As a company with years of experience in street furniture, VConsyst offers the M800 bicycle shelter. The goal was to advise the company on the best possibilities to make this product a sustainable solution. Two proposals were formed based on Circular Business Models. In the first proposal, VConsyst provides customers with sheltered bicycle parking spaces, in the form of the M800, as a service. In the second proposal, a sustainable version of the M800 which recaptures value from used or otherwise wasted resources is offered. It was concluded that both proposals have potential to be a solution for a sustainable version of the M800, though both solutions initiate different changes in the company. ­­­­
