Bachelor Assignment

In the graduation Thesis ‘Redesign manual clamp control’, an assignment was executed to improve ergonomics within the automotive industry. This assignment was focused on creating a new design for a manual component in machines that weld car parts together. The proposed design allows the manual component to be placed closer to the user, which results in a more ergonomic responsible working area. The design consists of flexible cables that can transmit the applied force on the manual component towards the axis that needs to be turned.
