A toolkit for autistic youth and their carers to promote independence
Many young autistic adults struggle with independence. For them technology could offer great opportunities. ‘Good Trip!’ is a co-design toolkit for young autistic adults and their carers that enables them to find or create a technology that promotes the independence of the young autistic adults in their day-to-day life, without the help of a designer. The toolkit is a game with each island representing one of the Design Thinking phase. It includes exercises and materials to complete these phases. During the prototyping phase users can decide for themselves where they are in the use pyramid and how they want to achieve their goal(s).
