Bachelor Assignment

On behalf of the company Arapaha the development of a concept for a fully recyclable backpack made from polylactic acid (PLA) was executed. The approach of this development is based on the first stages of the design thinking process, guiding the creative process. The result of the thesis is a concept for a PLA based rolltop backpack. The backpack functions as a way to spread the vision of the company to change the linear economy of production and consumption into a circular economy. To finally make a fundamental change how things you love in and around your house are made and remade.
