Improving the Circularity of Disposable Face Masks

RaboResearch, a branch of the Rabobank focused on market research, was interested in opportunities to make COVID-19 related litter more circular. Focusing on disposable face masks, both current and future options were researched in order to present an array of potential opportunities in increasing their circularity. These opportunities include changing materialistic aspects, design aspects, as well as systematic aspects. It was concluded that there is ample room for circular improvements regarding disposable face masks, and the presented options can help make that a possibility.
