Bachelor Assignment

At the Virtual Reality & Smart Industry Lab, there was no easy way of controlling the Automatic Guided Vehicles , in this case Turtlebot3's, using the Internet of Things. This assignment was about making an Augmented Reality interface that would be able to control the Turtlebot3 and would be scalable to use for more systems in the Lab.

This was achieved by first doing research on Internet of Things, AR interfaces and the Robot Operating System (ROS) used to control the Turtlebot3. In the end, a 'point to move' interface was made, where the user could select a place on the ground using an AR interface on a smartphone. The Turtlebot3 would then move there.
