A Storage Solution for the Synthetic Prototype Environment

In order to support developments in industry, new interfaces for interacting with data from factories are required. In order to support these developments, the Synthetic Prototype Environment (SPE) was created. This environment consists of an electromagnet that moves models on a table, in order to quickly create multiple configurations of a new production environment. Multiple stakeholders can interact with the same version of the simulated environment. During this Bachelor Thesis, a connection with a database was made in order to be able to save and load different scenarios from a cloud database. Changes made to the SPE are now sent to an SQL database, which can be retrieved via different interfaces: users can load scenarios, or different SPE's can e connected to each other in the future. Basically, a framework to support further developments was created.
