Optimizing the Ventilation System of Modular Space-in-Space Work Offices
At: BOW systems
This research focused on optimizing the ventilation system of a modular space-in-space office for BOW systems. A series of tests helped identify areas for improvement in three different solutions. A mechanical solution, a software solution, and a design solution. The software and design solutions demonstrated significant potential to enhance airflow through the unit. Consequently, a redesign of the duct silencers in the modular offices was undertaken. The design proposes a new airflow distribution system with a repetitive pattern of air supply and drain holes. The three solutions and their findings are presented in an implementation timeline for BOW systems.
