Guiding the Use of Vizcom in Industrial Design

This graduation project explored how the AI tool Vizcom could be meaningfully integrated into the workflow of D'Andrea & Evers Design (DE Design), a Dutch industrial design agency. Although the team was curious about using AI, they struggled with uncertainty, limited guidance, and a fear of losing creative control. Based on interviews, tool testing, and a co-design session, an interactive guide was developed to help designers use Vizcom with more confidence and relevance. The guide includes examples, tips and limitations, and visual workflows tailored to real design tasks. It helps designers explore ideas faster while staying in control of the outcome. The result is a practical framework that shows how AI can support creativity in a way that fits daily design work, making emerging tools like Vizcom more approachable and useful.
