Design of a Makerspace for Limkokwing University in Sierra Leone

This project presents the design of a modular makerspace for Limkokwing University in Sierra Leone. Developed through a user-centered approach, it responds to the university's need for hands-on learning environments for engineering, architecture, and design. The proposal includes five functional zones
- Clean workshop
- Dirty workshop
- Collaboration space
- Computer lab
- Conference room
This are tailored to the local infrastructure constraints, including limited power and space. A phased implementation plan and flexible layout ensure scalability and adaptability, while safety and tool relevance guide every design decision. Moreover a three tier budget was developed, essential, expanded, and advanced, adapting to different funding opportunities
