Bachelor Assignment

This thesis focuses on the development and design of the Amstervan Next, a new campervan concept that prepares the company Amstervan for the transition to electric mobility. The goal was to design a flexible and comfortable interior that stays true to Amstervan's values of freedom, Dutch design, and 'in connection'. Based on user research and market analysis, the concept introduces an inside-outside kitchen, improved storage, and a seating area that easily transforms into a bed. These features enhance usability and create a stronger link between indoor and outdoor living. The concept Amstervan Next demonstrates how Amstervan can evolve its design identity in a thoughtful way, combining craftsmanship with innovation to stay relevant in a growing and changing campervan market.
