Users of modern e-bikes experience problems with charging the batteries of the e-bike. For example, charging takes a long time, there are few options for charging on the go, it is inconvenient to constantly remove the battery and finally cables in busy garages can cause tripping hazards. To tackle this problem, an e-bike on supercapacitors that combines the advantages of electric support with the weight, price and experience of a traditional bicycle is designed. Supercapacitors are a technology that are feasible in the short term and can solve the charging problems of users. Supercapacitors can store and release energy faster than traditional batteries and can therefore be charged much faster. Furthermore, supercapacitors have a longer lifespan than traditional batteries and are environmental friendly.
