Bachelor Assignment

This thesis was done in collaboration with Corvus Drones with the goal of creating their next generation of greenhouse imaging drone. The focus was to reduce the weight of the drone to under 250 grams while simultaneously improving its durability. Aspects such as the safety, durability, stability, and flight time were all considered during the design of the drone as well as injection molding compatibility. A prototype was designed, assembled, and tested successfully. After analysis of the results and a final round of iterative design lead to a final revision. The findings of this thesis provided Corvus valuable insights for the continued advancement of greenhouse agricultural UAV technology.
