It allows designers to make precise predictions by using historical and statistical models on their products. One way to collect data is the use of simulations. A simulation can be described as the creation of a virtual model of a system or product to study its behaviour and specify certain characteristics under various conditions. In the evolving landscape of design engineering the role of simulations and data-driven decision-making has become increasingly significant. The growing number of types of simulations that can be performed can be considered overwhelming. A tool was developed to assist students in selecting simulations that are appropriate for specific design stages or objectives.
