Bachelor Assignment

To improve the inclusion and engagement of train drivers, an interactive physical (scale) model of a train was developed. This model allowed train drivers to reconfigure certain aspects of the driver's cabin and submit feedback about its design. The model also allowed members of the design to explain design problems to train drivers in an approachable way. During a series of communication events, the model was used to explain a central aspect of the design of a new train. The resultant increased understanding of train drivers of the issue is expected to lead to a smooth introduction of the new train.
