Bachelor Assignment

This bachelor thesis focused on analyzing the user interface of an online check-in service for hotels and holiday parks. During the initial analysis of the application through user tests and interviews, trust concerns emerged. The role of trust in user interface design was researched, and based on the findings, two new prototypes for the client were designed. The two prototypes were evaluated through user tests, where participants were asked to think out loud. A thematic analysis of the user test transcriptions revealed key themes in user feedback. The research led to design recommendations for improving the user interface of the platform, with a focus on usability and user trust.
