Bachelor Assignment

This project describes the redesign of a wheel which can be used to manually position storage containers. Universal Storage Containers offers unique portable storage containers to customers all around the world. Included in the service of the company is building and assembling container parks on location. These container parks range from a few to hundreds of containers. The wheels could be used to increase the efficiency of the assembly process. However, the wheels currently do not fit into the process well enough. The project therefore focusses on determining the best possible redesign to maximize the efficiency in terms of accuracy, speed and transportability. While managing production costs and safety during operation.
