Bachelor Assignment

This project concerns proposing an interactive model for a partly redesigned human-machine interface (HMI) of a micro-assembly machine, a low-volume production machine that can move, assemble and detect components on a micro-scale. This prototype aims to solve several design and usability problems the original HMI has. The original functionality is maintained while adding 2 functions intended to improve usability and safety. After usability testing, it became apparent that the prototype could improve usability and needs several design changes to make it feasible for implementation.
