Research to a universal diagnostic device, that simplifies the maintenance of ground-based weapon systems

Past decade, an enormous diversity of materiel is implemented, and more future implementations are planned. Throughout the whole Ministry of Defence, maintenance units must deal with the increasing number of devices. The transportation of tools and spare parts becomes a problem due to size and weight. This problem will get larger if more materiel is implemented. To simplify the maintenance of ground-based weapon system the focus should be more on the deployment flexibility of the devices and the support of Defence own IT supplier, JIVC.
