Bachelor Assignment

For this assignment a shipping container was converted to a greenhouse using a hydroponic, grown in water, agriculture method. The design consists of an aluminum carrying rack with multiple layers of water troughs, in which the plants will grow. Each layer has its own LED lights to provide energy for the crops to grow. Nutrient-rich water is pumped around the system to provide the plants with nutrients. Lastly, to control the temperature and humidity of the container, the original refrigerator unit of the container itself is used. Air is blown across the space to remove humidity and cool the area. The goal is to place the container in Ukraine to allow fresh vegetable growth all year round.
