Bachelor Assignment

The project introduces a solution for the design of the battery and battery base of an electric kit that when installed into a conventional bicycle, turns it into an electric bicycle. The project was provided by the eclectic mobility company Swugo, based in the Netherlands and the goal is to define a new design that offers good user experience and adds value to the user's life. Through the research and development, concepts were developed, physical prototypes were tested and after multiple iterations were made, the end result was a preliminary assembly of the battery and battery base, as well as User Interaction features and an electronic components list that the concept needed for its functions. The product is more than an electric bicycle battery, as it is meant to be taken out of the bicycle quickly and securely and be used as a power bank for other devices and speakers for entertainment purposes
