Bachelor Assignment

Philips wants to have more sustainable packaging for their products. One of their products of the Philips Avent line is the soothie, which is a silicone pacifier. The current packaging types for this product both contain plastic. The assignment was to create new sustainable packaging concepts for the Philips Avent soothie. This has been done by researching alternative (transparent) material solutions and designing new packaging concepts for the Philips Avent soothie. The soothie is medical product, thus should be packed hygienically. According to Philips, the consumer should still be able to see the product through the packaging. However, no clear information about the product visibility needs of consumer are identified. This boundary was researched and pushed during the assignment. Three final concepts are delivered considering the different product visibility options for the consumer.
