In order to improve the user experience of the voting system of Awaves, different kinds of user experience evaluation methods have been used in a field-testing context. In this case the context where Awaves is typically used is at a student house party. The analyzed results have been used to completely redesign the voting system. The redesigned voting system gives the users more influence, delivers a wider variety in available music and improves the user experience in general.
