Bachelor Assignment

This assignment explores using AR technology, specifically the HoloLens 2, to enhance machine operating instructions, with a case study at the University of Twente workshop. A prototype was developed and tested, gathering feedback from students and workshop and HSE employees. The prototype combines tasks, instructions, questions, and holograms around the machine, resulting in positive user responses, increased engagement, and improved understandability. A cost estimation confirmed the financial feasibility of implementing AR instructions for safety training. Additionally, advice was provided for further development at the UT workshop, and potential AR applications were proposed for the IDE curriculum, the upcoming Learning Factory, and industry-wide factories.
