The environmental footprint of a self-checkout, the SLIM SCO Flat Small, from Pan Oston has been analysed to gain knowledge about how sustainable Pan Oston's products are. This was done by the performance of a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). The entire life cycle of the SLIM SCO Flat Small turned out to produce 488 kg CO2 eq., this is equal to a flight for one person from Amsterdam to Malta and a little less than 25 kg beef.
