Syrian refugee in Jordan has been struggling with frequent energy outage in the refugee camps. Lighting is considered the biggest sector of energy use in the camp. For students, not having enough lighting for study can bring negative impacts on their future development and health. Hence, a solar lamp with flashlight-looking is designed.

The design features an adjustable head, and the angle can be changed according to the users' preference. While the lamp attaches to the base, it starts charging. Flipping over the lamp, it is where the solar panel is placed. While detaching the lamp, it can be used as a flashlight, which provides portability and enables refugees to use it for different purposes. The lamp also offers a zooming function, that enables to adjust the height as needed.
