Bachelor Assignment

Technologies for Criminal Investigations is a Dutch-based research group that tackles various problems in the criminal domain with the utilization of modern technologies. A current project of the group is a proof of concept of a remotely operated explosive detector that is integrated into a mobile robot. In order to succeed with this goal my bachelor thesis assignment was focused on developing a functional prototype that can be tested in order to derive meaning insights for the further development of the project. The end result contributed to refining the design, improving the functional features, and ultimately creating a more effective remote explosive detection system.
