A notable post-pandemic development involves decreased productivity among employees in office settings. During COVID-19, employees started working remotely, from home. Returning to the office after this period, individuals are more easily distracted than before, resulting in low concentration which leads to decreased productivity on an individual scale, which has consequences in a decline in corporate performance overall. The smartrest® terminates the annoying distractions in open offices for good. Through its directional speakers office workers are able to optimise their productivity while staying within the interactive environment that suits the open office plan. Neither colleagues will be distracted, resulting in a harmonious working environment. The headrest accommodates the user with optimal head and neck support while creating a sound bubble around the ear area to fade out conversations.
