The University of Twente's Humanitarian Engineering program integrates engineering and social science to solve community problems, emphasizing Community-Based Learning (ComBL). This thesis developed an online ComBL tool helps educational staff in transitioning to this approach, which focuses on experiential learning through direct community engagement.

The research explored designing a tool to assist teachers in transferring to ComBL, outlining key features needed for effective implementation. Objectives included assessing existing tools, researching ComBL, developing a prototype, and refining it based on user feedback.

The final result is a functional, user-friendly web service tool that effectively introduces educators to the ComBL approach. The tool aligns with the University of Twente's design identity, offers clear guidance on adopting new teaching methodology, and provides an accessible platform for educators to transition to a ComBL.
