Designing a new video streaming module for a product life cycle management program
At: Softwerk
This project aims to design a user-centred new video streaming module accommodating user experience results collected from user testing for a Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) program.
In this research, Nielsen's 10 usability heuristics rules were applied to the overall design of the video module interface.
The list of requirements includes methods to validate the corresponding requirement in current research steps user testing, and further development as well.
For the user testing, two of the research methods were used: quantitative research (survey) and qualitative research (interview).
Based on the testing result, the final prototypes were developed based on the target group's preference considering the user-centred perspective.
Also, the validation methods from requirements and recommendations were established to support the higher quality of further development of the video streaming module package.
