Bachelor Assignment

The assignment for Deltares and the RDO West-Midden consists of developing an interactive Graphical User Interface for their Virtual Delta. This Digital Twin of the Rhine-Meuse delta will be used for the monitoring and prediction of saltwater intrusion into the estuary of the fresh-water rivers. The final design proposal is a visual representation of the interface, disconnected from the back-end of the Digital Twin. The concept visually integrates data from the KNMI, Rijkswaterstaat, and the software's calculation models. Moreover, it provides decision-making support by representing the results of simulations of salt intrusion mitigation measures visually.
