Bachelor Assignment

The aim of this assignment was to optimise the production process of a product designed by Logue on sustainability and costs. This was done by executing several analyses to create limiting design guidelines and opportunity design guidelines. Alongside this process, evaluation methods were created to review the sustainability and costs of the production process. Following this analysis phase, ideation was performed, ideas were screened and finally two redesigns existing of various materials were created. These two redesigns were analysed to acquire resulting data which was compared with the original design to form recommendations on design changes. Furthermore, a redesign strategy was formed by evaluating and proposing an updated design strategy of the process executed in this bachelor thesis.
