How can the current design process of the Loosely Fitted Design Synthesizer tool be improved and optimized with emphasis on the Logic Mode?

At: University of Twente

The Loosely Fitted Design Synthesizer (LFSD) is developed by the Rawshaping Technology project. A LFDS setup consists of a physical workbench fitted with a camera and monitor. Users can capture content which is visualized in a virtual user-interface. During development it is shown that among other areas the Logic Mode (LM) needs further development. This LM enables users to analyze and synthesize their captured content to create concepts.

There are two directions explored during ideation, eventually the broader and abstract direction of the concepts of A Thousand Plateaus (ATP) by Deleuze & Guattari is further developed. Based on current similarities between the concepts of ATP and the LFDS system a new framework is created. To fit the LFDS system into the new framework, a proposal is made for two extensions on the existing system, the Evaluation Mapping and Relation Mapping.
