The existing safes are all very heavy and rigid objects. This research tried to find a solution to make transport and placement of safes easier. The safes that are focussed are intended for the use of smaller businesses and private use. This means that the safe needs to follow guidelines set by the European norm. This norm gives certain strength regulations and design limitations that needed to be considered. The end concept is a safe that is assembled on location, meaning that the safe is built up out of different parts. These parts are all designed according to ARBO standards. Tests on this final concept, together with some calculations showed that it should be possible.
