The company makes measuring equipment, dispensing equipment and software. in the field of nuclear medicine. One of their systems is the monitoring system, which consists of multiple measuring devices. One of these devices measures radioactivity. The main assignment was to improve the design of this device with respect to costs, cleanability and looks, while also keeping in mind the assembling and ergonomics. With a simple and compact design of the cover, which can be produced with injection moulding, the costs can be reduces while also being easier to clean.

The data of all devices of the monitoring system is presented on a main screen. A sub-assignment was to improve the main screen of the monitoring system, to make the design clearer and more ergonomic. Another sub-assignment was to give the devices of the monitoring system a coherent look and feel.
