The design and building of a transportable demonstration field that ensures stable field illumination for soccer robots

For this bachelor assignment, a portable field for soccer robot demonstrations had to be designed and build. The field had to be transportable by car, easy to assemble, ensure stable illumination of the playing area and provide enough grip for the robots to drive around easily. All of these design challenges have been looked into and a combination of solutions for the various design challenges led to the final design of the demonstration field. In accordance with a 3D digital design, a physical demonstration field of two by three meters has been build. The field offers space for two to three robots to demonstrate their individual and collective skills and capabilities.
