Study on enhancing EMSA's food storage products

This project takes on the challenge to enhance EMSA’s food storage products. The objective of this project was to come up with a stand-alone product that is applicable for EMSA’s food storage products and provide an additional benefit. Additionally, reducing consumer waste was later added to the project as an objective. With the help of three iteration sprints, the project results in a worked-out product and a 3D mockup. This product enhances EMSA’s food storage products by increasing two aspects towards the user. Firstly, the product provides certainty about the duration of storage of leftovers. Secondly, the product creates awareness for the storage of leftovers. The results of these two benefits is that the consumer waste will be reduced and the value of EMSA’s food storage products are increased.
