Bachelor Assignment

Fraunhofer Project Center is working on the development of a testbed. With this testbed, a company can develop, improve and test a production environment in a synthetic environment and thus without disturbing the real production process. A testbed contains a pilot production environment controlled and visualized by a virtual dashboard. Currently, the virtual dashboard is created per scenario. Since this is very inefficient, the assignment was to create a general approach for the development of a virtual dashboard. The focus was on three parts of this general approach, namely:

• The approach for the visualization of information

• The approach for the visualization of the virtual dashboard

• The approach for information management

With the help of a case study with a restaurant scenario, the general approaches were created.
