Bachelor Assignment

The Fraunhofer Project Centre is developing a testbed, which is a flexible pilot production environment where companies can test their manufacturing systems in a synthetic environment. For this assignment the functional behaviour of the testbed was put in a model, making use of generic building blocks. These building blocks can be used to describe manufacturing scenarios, from a product perspective. By making scenarios, the decision making process of the testbed can be mapped. This, however, is dependant on the strategy, flexibility of the mechanisms and the thresholds determined by the user.
